The waiting season

Pleasing God in all circumstances sounds simple enough, right? Well, it can be. But there are always those moments when you wonder why God hasn't used you for more. Why He hasn't called you to do something big. Or at least bigger than what you're doing right now. I mean, everybody else seems to be doing something really huge and impactful, right? Well, there's actually a scripture where it talks about there being a time for everything. It's located in Ecclesiastes 3:1-11....

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
What do workers gain from their toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
It's not really easy but, sometimes God has a plan way better than what you think is 'right.' God has done something so amazing. He put you on this earth for a purpose...a great purpose. And sometimes, in your life, there is a time for waiting. But in the end, there is a great purpose that has such significance, that God chose to create you to fulfill it. So, in the season of waiting, remember, he has a purpose for you. And keep Jeremiah 29:11 in mind: For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.
Stay strong and love you guys!!! ~KJ
